Tree 5: Saucer Magnolia - Magnolia x soulangiana

Saucer Magnolia located on Temple University Ambler campus. Tree is on the corner of Bright Hall building, just outside the lounge.

  • a hybrid of Magnolia heptapeta x Magnolia quinquepeta
  • hardy to zone 5 (warmer parts of 4)
Habit and Form
  • a deciduous small tree
  • grows up to 30' tall
  • upright and spreading branching
  • rounded to irregular habit
  • multi-trunked or with low main branches

Tree 4: Bradford Pear: Pyrus calleryana

This Bradford Pear was in the parking lot of the Staples store in Willow Grove. the variety is unknown.

Skelton Trees Behind the Horsham Friendly's.
